INTRODUCTION:-
What is to Protect?
Answer. To protect is to make sure that something or someone is not harmed, injured, or damaged.
√ God’s protection is how God ensures that every person is not harmed, injured, or endangered by anything.
√God is the only faithful protector, Psalm 20:7
√God is powerful, and He is the one who protects us from all danger, including dangers like sicknesses, e.g., Job 2:7-10, Job 42:10-12
Fire, e.g., Lot in Genesis 19, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3.
Water, e.g., Noah and His family, together with a pair of animals, Genesis 6 & Genesis 7
Harmful animals, e.g., David and Daniel from the lion in 1 Samuel 17:34
– Context reading Exodus 2:1-10.
By God’s will, the princess found Moses and took pity on him, decided to spare his life, and raised him as his own son.
Acts 20:7-12 Eutycus was saved and protected by God. Paul was used to restoring his life
-We learn that God uses other people for you to get protected, as He used Pharaoh’s daughter to rescue Moses
WHY DOES GOD PROTECT US:
1. Because of his love and compassion, Psalms 86:15
2. To preserve our faith
3. To fulfill His promise
4. So that we can accomplish His Work, like spreading the gospel of the Lord
HOW DOES GOD PROTECT US:
1. BY providing a refuge and strength, Psalms 91:1-7
2. By granting us peace, John 14:27, Philippians 4:7, Psalms 29: 11
3. By giving us way( Wisdom) in difficulty times
4. By offering protection from harm
CONCLUSION:
1. God answers when you call Jeremiah 33:3
2. GOD will give you guidance and protection. 2 Thessalonians 3:3, Proverbs 4:6
3. He will give you peaceful sleep. Proverbs 3:24
4. He will give you away. 1 Cor 10:13
5. He will give you victory. 2 Corinthians 4:14
